Funeral services for Amanda Renee Simmons Brock, 61, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Coker officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Brock passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She was born March 7, 1960 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Laura and Johnnie Harold Simmons.

Mrs. Amanda was a loving, caring, loyal, and family-oriented mother. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Many times, she would put her family's needs before her own needs and always reminded them of where they came from. If her children or grandchildren participated in an event, she was sure to attend. Mrs. Brock enjoyed music, making people laugh, and having fun when with her. She was also a great cook whom homemade chocolate pie and sweet tea were the best. Mrs. Amanda will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children Wanda Lyn (Josh) Russell and Justin Keith "Tubby" (Rebecca) Brock; grandchildren Camren Russell, Shelby Jane Russell, Mason Brock, and Ava Marshall; brother Harold Truett (Cynthia) Simmons; father of her children Keith Brock; and a host of friends and loving family.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 10:00 AM until service at 11:00 AM.
