Andrew Edwin Davidson known by his friends and family as "Andy", of Tylertown, MS, passed away on November 19, 2023. Andy was born on September 24, 1953 to Ed and Lucile Davidson in Jackson, MS. After graduating from Wingfield High School in 1971, he attended the University of Mississippi.  Soon after he met the love of his life, Mary Ann "Toney," and they married on September 14, 1973. They went on to have two children Brooke and Kristi.

Andy started his career in the flooring industry which led him to Texas. He was passionate about developing talent and mentoring people in the flooring business throughout their careers. After more than 30 years, he retired in 2013 and returned to Tylertown, Ms.

Andy was an avid sports fan but no team held his heart like the Ole Miss Rebels.  He enjoyed watching Westerns, talking to friends, home cooked meals, and never missed the Masters golf tournament each year. He was a member at Tylertown Methodist Church. He was known for his sense of humor, always caring and helping others and being the life of the party. The love he had for his friends and family was immeasurable, as demonstrated from the love and memories shared his final days. He left a lasting impression on all those he encountered.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Lucile Davidson and sister Barbara Husbands. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Mary Ann "Toney"; daughters Brooke Stevenson and Kristi Davidson (Damien); grandchildren Alexus Stevenson, Kennedy Shaw, Dominick Stevenson, and Damien Andrew Pinkerton; his brothers, Clifton Davidson (Mary) and Sidney Toney (Patti); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM until memorial service at 2:00 PM at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave. Tylertown, MS 39667.

A celebration of life will be held in Dallas on December 16, 2023 from 3pm-7pm at

Karmic Grounds, 3033 Ohio Dr Suite 1000 Frisco, TX 75035
