Anthony L. Sweigart, 66, of Summit, Mississippi passed away on June 30, 2026. He was born on March 15, 1960, in Myerstown, Pennsylvania to the late Wilmer Sweigart and Alma Weaver Sweigart. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by sister, Cindy Oberholtzer; and 3 nephews.
Mr. Sweigart was a man of great faith. He enjoyed camping with his family and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Sweigart; children, Regina Martin (Eldon), Wilmer Sweigart (Shyla), and Rosalie Sweigart: grandchildren, Derek Martin, Lanita Martin, Emily Martin, Leon Martin, Virgil Martin, Kendall Martin, Arianna Sweigart, and Kiara Sweigart; siblings, Wilbur Sweigart (Rhoda), Mel Sweigart (Wilma), Cheryl Weaver (Darvin), and Carol Witmer (Daryl);
brother-in-law, Clinton Oberholtzer (Mary Ann); along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
Visitation will be held at Darbun Mennonite Church, 1379 Kokomo Rd. Kokomo, MS 39643, on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Darbun Mennonite Church. Buriel will follow in the church cemetery. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Wilmer Sweigart, Eldon Martin, Wilbur Sweigart, Clinton Oberholtzer, Darvin Weaver, and Daryl Witmer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Reed High and Mel Sweigart.
