Obituary

Arlie "Pete" Graves Jr.   April 02,1937 - March 26,2024   Passing peacefully at the age of 86.

Arlie was born in Tylertown, Mississippi on April 02, 1937. Arlie is better known as Pete to family and friends. In 1960 he entered The US Army and received an honorable discharge in 1966.  While serving, his duty was heavy equipment operator and he received medals for marksman and sharp shooter. Pete married Betty Reynolds and had two daughters, Debbie and Donna. For the past 40 years, Pete was married to Mary Louise Miller.  Pete had a (30) year career with South Central Bell. After retirement, he worked for many years delivering specialty vehicles across the country for Sewell Cadillac and Bryan Chevrolet. Pete and Marie (Mary) loved to travel and took many cruise vacations together.

Pete fell ill in July 2023. His recovery took several months and led him to move into Restoration Senior Living Center for further care. The care of the staff at Restoration was great, but he just needed closer care. Pete's moved to Beau West Peristyle for further assistance with his wellbeing.  The care at Beau West was what Pete needed in his last days.  The love and compassion at both Facilities was much appreciated by Pete and his family.  Pete will be greatly missed.
