Funeral services for Barbara E. Fairburn, 64, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rushing Cemetery.

Mrs. Fairburn passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. She was born November 9, 1956 in Virginia to the late Robert Easley and Geneva Fairburn. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her stepfather Ted Fairburn.

Mrs. Barbara was an outstanding cook. She used those skills in Walthall County as owner and operator of the Frog Pond Restaurant for 30 years. She was member of Lexie Baptist Church. Mrs. Fairburn enjoyed talking on the phone, putting puzzles together, drinking coffee, and spending time with James and Helen. Barbara will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children Heather (Bobby) Lewis and Rickie (Alexis Rivero) Dufrene, Jr.; grandchildren Bradley Baughman, David Tyler Dufrene, and Victoria Dufrene; sisters Tammy (Ricky) Munn and Amy Terrell; daughter-in-law Amanda Dufrene; special nieces and nephews Ashley Deer, Chad Deer, Corey Deer, Amber Terrell, AnnaBelle Terrell, and Luke Terrell; soulmate James Burch; best friend Helen (Bruce Wells) Holmes; along with a host of friends and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Rickie Dufrene Jr., David Tyler Dufrene, Bobby Lewis, Luke Terrell, Chad Deer, and Brian Holmes. Honorary pallbearer is Troy Barber.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM until service at 2:00 PM.
