Funeral services for Barbara Jean Henning, 74, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Tylertown, MS with Father Tommy Conway officiating.

Ms. Henning passed away at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. She was born January 17, 1946 in Wisconsin to the late Irene and Forrest Kohl. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Henning; sisters Carol Etheridge, Sherry Bachim, and Diane Isley; and brother Steve Kohl.

Ms. Barbara was a member of St Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's Group. She was also an active member of her Neighborhood Watch.  Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing dominoes, and was always helping others. She was best known for baking her famous cinnamon rolls and yeast rolls.

Survivors include her children Lori (Jay) Bacot , Billy (Kristi) Henning, Bobby (Candy) Henning, and  Larry (Kim) Henning; grandchildren Kyle (Christa) Bacot, Tyler (Jessica) Bacot, Jessica (Stephen) Howard, Katelyn Henning, Sarah (Kevin) Tanksley, Rebecca (Corey) Rowell, Rachal Henning, Garret Henning, and  Dalton Henning; great-grandchildren Izzabella Bacot, Kason Bacot, Harrison Tanksley, Emilia Tanksley, Camden Freeman, and  Emery Freeman; sister Tari Dower; brother Curt Kohl; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Magee, Lennie Bossier, Fred Norder, and Dan Hawn.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. and Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church from 12 noon until service time at 1:00 PM.
