Graveside services for Bennie Rue Stringer Magee, 86, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 10:00 AM on September 17, 2020 at Crystal Springs Cemetery with Brother Lonnie Case officiating.

Mrs. Magee passed away at her residence in Tylertown, MS on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. She was born August 28, 1934 in Marion County, MS to the late Ina and Sedgie Stringer. She is also preceded in death by her husband Robert James Magee; sister Iris Lowery; brothers Everette Stringer, Jack Stringer, and Dudley Stringer; and son-in-law Charles Willis Brumfield.

Mrs. Bennie was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist where she enjoyed attending her Sunday School class and never liked to miss a day. She loved to spend time with her family and cook them a wonderful meal. Bennie spoke often of how much she loved and missed her husband. The celebration in heaven was sure to be a great one when they were reunited.

Survivors include children Patricia (Adrian) Wood, James Magee, Dale Magee, and Pam (Lonnie) Case; grandchildren Anita (Trae) Rushing,  Leslie (Michael) Berry, Jordan Magee, Jamie (Kallie) Magee, Adam (Katie) Brumfield, and Matthew (Elizabeth Lindsey) Brumfield; great grandchildren Julianna Rushing, Adrian Rushing, Braylon Brumfield, Boston Brumfield, Chrimson Brumfield, Sheppard Brumfield, Banks Brumfield, and Ryleigh Roberts; loving older sister Billie Cochran, close nephew Melvin Lowery; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
