Betty Jean Cantwell, 85, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 in Granbury, TX. She was born Saturday, January 15, 1938 in Tylertown, MS.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Betty was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her father Alvin Brown Cantwell; mother Dixie Owens Cantwell; sisters Inez Cantwell, Sue Ainsworth, and Ouida Bullock; brothers Paul Cantwell and Jake Cantwell.

Survivors include her nephew Larry Eugene Ainsworth; nieces Rhonda B. Dabney, Kathy B. Truxillo, Paula A. Spragg, and Kay A. DeLozier.
