Funeral services for Betty Coon Grenn, 75, of Jayess, Mississippi will be held at 12 noon on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Capps Funeral Home with Reverend David Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the Enon Cemetery.

Mrs. Grenn passed away in Jackson, Mississippi on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born July 8, 1946 in Carriere, Mississippi to the late Lawson and Hettie Taylor. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Arnold Grenn; father of her children Vilace Coon; son-in-law Paul King; numerous brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Betty was a member of Bogue Chitto Assembly of God. She enjoyed crafting. But spending time with her children and grandchildren was her greatest joy in life.

Survivors include children Regina (Mitch) Morgan, Roxane (John Price) King, Andy Coon, Chip Grenn, Jarvis Grenn, Trevor Grenn, and Jason Grenn along with their spouses and children; grandchildren Taylor (Sam) Corrie, Luke Morgan, Ashley (Craig) Wainwright, Crystal (Cody) Woodall, Lindsey King, Camron King, Jessie King, and Kacie King; great grandchildren Adeline Woodall, Dawson Woodall, and Kendall Woodall; brother Harold Taylor; sister Dot Lampkin; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Chip Grenn, Jarvis Grenn, Jason Grenn, Trevor Grenn, Tim Smith, and Sam Corrie.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM until service at 12 noon.
