Billy Wayne McCullough, 84 of Tylertown, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Wesley Medical Center. He was born Tuesday, June 7, 1938 in Oxford, Mississippi to Doss and Ida McCullough.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Oral Cemetery with Bro. Everett Broome officiating . Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-876-3712. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oral Missionary Baptist Church, 256 Oral Church Road, Tylertown, MS 39667.

He was a restaurant manager for Morrison Cafeteria and upon retirement owned a dairy farm for many years. He was a member of Oral Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on the farm, gardening, and watching Ole Miss ballgames.

He was preceded in death by his parents Doss Edward McCullough; mother Ida Irene Bowles McCullough; siblings Opal, Kenneth, D.E., and Ruby Lynn.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Sue Fortenberry McCullough; children Amanda McCullough Saizan of Tylertown, Mississippi, James Wayne (Amanda) McCullough of Terry, Mississippi and Kim McCullough of Brandon, Mississippi; three grandchildren Anayah Saizan, Jay McCullough, and Shelby Leach; four great grandchildren; and one sister Sue Smith of Atlanta, Georgia.
