Funeral services for Kay Smith, 77, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 outside at Capps Funeral Home in with James Ochenrider officiating. Burial will be in the Rushing Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith passed away at River Regions Hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi on Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was born June 2, 1943 in Walthall, Mississippi to the late Lillie and Archie Lindsey. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Everett Smith; son Stacey Smith; and numerous siblings.

Mrs. Kay was a faithful member of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church. She was a wonderful mother whom enjoyed cooking, making crafts, fishing, reading her bible, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children Shannon (Kristie) Smith, Christina Smith, Chandler (Bonnie) Smith; grandchildren William Thomas Smith, Jacob Todd Smith, Dillon Shannon Smith, Chase Henry Clark, Maddox Chandler Smith, Lillie Kay Smith, Cora Cathern Smith, Demi Rebecca Smith, and Lana Bonnie Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Garrett Dillon, Will Smith, Jacob Smith, Dillon Smith, Chase Clark, Maddox Smith, Chandler Smith, and Shannon Smith.

Visitation will be at Capps Chapel on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Please comply with recent Coronavirus recommendations by the CDC .
