Bonnie Jean Kirkpatrick

December 8, 1940 – April 30, 2024

Bonnie Jean Kirkpatrick, 83 of Tylertown, MS passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born Sunday, December 8, 1940 in Walthall County. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Henry Kirkpatrick;  father Jessie Hoyt Boyd;  mother Jessie Merle Melton Boyd;  brother Jimmie Hoyt Boyd;  sisters Linda Faye Goings and Betty Sue Hill.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, Mississippi and then on May 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Boyd Family Cemetery on Brockdale Road. Pastor Jerron Carney and Pastor Stephen Binion will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

First and foremost Mrs. Bonnie loved her Lord and going to church to spend time with her church family at Woodlawn Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and neighbors. She was a generous woman who was willing to give to those who were in need. She read her Bible and would have discussion with what she had read with her family and pastor. She had a kind heart and will be missed by those who knew her.

Survivors include her son Richard Scott Kirkpatrick (Danica); daughters Robin Rockco McMillon (Kevin) and Margie Gill Loup; grandchildren Jennifer Gill McCallum (Chris), Jessica Annette Gill, Anna Jeanette Alford (Aubry), Ariel Leigh Dillon, Tristan Blaine Kirkpatrick and Jace Scott Kirkpatrick; 8 great grandchildren; special friends Ardith Fisher (Carl), Barbara Furbush (Mike) and Debby  Adams (Lamar); along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Chris McCallum, Mason McCallum, Josh Hill, Blaine Kirkpatrick, Jace Kirkpatrick, and Aubry Benefield. Honorary pallbearer will be Easton McCallum.
