Bonnie Jean Lowery

June 16, 1932 – June 5, 2024

Bonnie Jean Lowery, 91 of Sandy Hook, MS passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in Columbia, MS. She was born Thursday, June 16, 1932 in Dexter, Mississippi to the late George and Delhia Sorrell. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Kelly Lowery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM, Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS with Bro. Everett Broom officiating. Burial will follow in Oral Cemetery Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bonnie was a member of Oral Baptist Church where she loved spending time with her church family; later when she wasn't able to go to church she would watch church programs on the television. She was a seamstress as her profession and also as a hobbyist. She also loved her family and spending time with them.

Survivors include her daughter, Montieth Kellie Boone of Sandy Hook, MS;  grandchildren, Daniel J  Boone, Jr and Danielle S Boone;  sisters, Veona Crain and Joyce Crain;  great grandchildren, Maddilyn Grace Boone, Morgan Elizabeth Boone, Alexis Chisholm, John Chisholm, Paisley Willow Boone, Braylin Stewart and Alena Stewart; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Lowery, Jimmy Lowery, Barry Dillon, Roger Ginn, D.J. Boone, and Shelton Stogner.
