Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Dunaway Brumfield, 56, of Tylertown, will be held at 11 A.M on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Capps Funeral Home with the Reverends Matt Robinson and Shane Freeman officiating. Burial will be in the Rushing Cemetery.

Mrs. Brumfield passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born March 11, 1962 in McComb, Mississippi to Roosevelt Billy Dunaway and the late Agnes Faye Whittington Dunaway.

Brenda was a member of Mesa Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and playing with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Roosevelt Billy Dunaway, survivors include her husband of 40 years William H. Brumfield, Sr.; sons William Henry Brumfield, Jr. (Christy), and Patrick Daniel Brumfield (Tina); mother-in-law Dora R. Brumfield; brother Billy Dunaway; sisters Wendy Ryals (Darrell), Kim Coney, and Tammy Sorrow (Wayne); grandchildren Matthew, Mitchell, and Raven; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Brumfield, Ryan Ryals, Brick Dixon, Barry Dillon, Ronnie Wheeless, and Alan Stringer.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until service time there at 11:00 A.M.
