Funeral services for Mr. Brent Nelson Grubbs, 67, of Tylertown, will be held at 2 P. M. on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Capps Funeral Home with Reverend Justin Knight officiating.  Burial will be in the Tylertown Cemetery.

Mr. Grubbs passed away at Merit Health -Wesley in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Thursday, May 24, 2018.  He was born October 23, 1950 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Henry Hinton and Elise Brumfield Grubbs.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death a step-son Kirk Conerly.

He was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church and was an avid golfer.  Brent enjoyed cooking and grilling for his family.

Survivors include his daughter Amanda Rawson; his son Gabe Grubbs; sister Jo Nell Fairchild; brothers Gilbert Grubbs and Mack Grubbs; grandchildren Chandler Rawson and Isabella Rawson; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time there at 2:00 P.M.
