Obituary

Brooke Rayanne Sartin McNeese- a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, teacher, and friend- left this world in the arms of Jesus on Monday, June 5. Brooke was born on September 14, 1979 in McComb, Mississippi. She was the youngest of the three children of Bill and Amy Sartin. Brooke lived a life of service and devotion to those that she loved, and her sudden passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who loved her.

Brooke's love for her family was boundless. Her steadfast love for her husband of 19 years, Adam, and her precious daughter, Kinley, was unmatched. Kinley and she were not only mother and daughter but best friends as well.

Brooke excelled at sports, especially softball. Playing in the local leagues, she was a 3rd baseman and a slugger. She earned MVP honors on her team. Her team from Walthall County won the State Babe Ruth title and advanced to the World Series finals in Wilmington, NC. Later, she enjoyed playing church league softball and tournaments. A perfect day for Brooke consisted of cooking and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Brooke was a graduate of Dexter High School in 1997 and the University of Southern Mississippi in 2009. She used her gifts of love and compassion to become a devoted teacher to many students throughout her 8 years of service in the Walthall County School District as a third grade math instructor. Her most recently attained award, Teacher of the Month, honored her exemplary work within the classroom, and her impact and legacy will live on through all of her former students.

Brooke was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church. As a young adult, she directed the first and only interpretive music youth drama team.

Brooke is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jimmy and Ernestine Felder of McComb and John Ray and Elise Sartin of Dexter. She is survived by her husband, Adam, of Jayess; daughter, Kinley, of Jayess; parents, Bill and Amy Sartin of Dexter; brothers, Bill Sartin Jr. (Leigh Anne) of Hernando and Gareth Sartin (Jessica) of Bogue Chitto; sister-in-laws, Leann McNeese of Tylertown and Courtney Sistrunk of Sumrall; nieces and nephews, Madison Reaves (Austin) of Guntown, Morgan Sartin of Saltillo, Will Sartin of Hernando, Felder Sartin and Easton Sartin of Bogue Chitto, Lakin Graham, Evan Graham, Bryni Graham, and Tristan Graham all of Tylertown; great-nephews, Beau and Sam Reaves of Guntown; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues.

Brooke has brought us joy, made us laugh, and shown us loyal love. She leaves us with these lasting gifts and has blessed our memories forever
