Bruce Melvin Kennedy Sr. (Pop) age 70 of Tylertown, Mississippi passed away Thursday, October 13, 202 at Forrest General Hospital. He was born January 9, 1952 in Tylertown, Mississippi. He enjoyed watching TV shows such as "First 48", "Street Outlaws", and any football game. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Georgene Reid, stepfather Richard Reid, brother Phillip Kennedy and niece Honey Hux.

Survivors include his sisters Janet Alexander (Billy) and Joy Hux (Eugene); friend Patricia Shaw; sons Tommy Kennedy (Dawn), Bruce Kennedy Jr. (Buffy), and Rocky Kennedy (Tama); grandchildren Anthony Rushing (Danielle), Cory and Brittany Kennedy, Austen Hughes (Katelynn), Gage and Eli Kennedy, Aaron Cobb (Taylor), Daniel Cobb, Jamie Robertson, and Daniel Wilkerson (Danielle); great grandchildren Jaylen and Cameron Rushing, Sailor and Teagan Hughes, Paisley and Ryan Kennedy, Bryan Wilkerson, Nathan and Noah Cobb; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
