Charles Ray Hobgood

January 8, 1932 – February 27, 2024

Charles  Ray Hobgood, 92 of Tylertown, MS passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024. He was born Friday, January 8, 1932 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Tally and Lois Hobgood. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his brothers Floyd Hobgood, Bobby Hobgood, and Kenneth Hobgood.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS. Burial will follow at Oral Cemetery.  Bro. Ron Jordan will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Christine Blackwell Hobgood; son Charles Woody Hobgood (Anna); stepdaughter Dianne McBeth Waldrop (Joe);  brother, Malcolm McEwen (Wanda); sister, Shirley Hobgood Lang (Albert); along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
