Charles Ronald “Bonz” O’Bryant, 62 of Tylertown, MS, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026. He was born June 14, 1964, in Tylertown, MS to Charles J. O’Bryant and Marie Conerly Westmoreland.

A visitation will be held at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS 39667, from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, with Bro. Trent Bilbo officiating. Interment will follow at Oral Cemetery. Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bonz loved his career as a truckdriver with Turnage Trucking Company where he formed relationships and taught his trade to many people for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, building things with his hands, and spending time with his family and dogs. Bonz never met a stranger, and his memory will be cherished by those that loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Conerly Westmoreland; children, Jamie O’Bryant and Chase O’Bryant; grandchildren, Dreyden Martin, Rylee Bridges, and Grant O’Bryant; sister, Christie O’Bryant; along with a host of children of the heart, grandchildren of the heart, friends and loving family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles J. O’Bryant.

Pallbearers will Dreyden Martin, Chad McElveen, Robbie Turnage, Keith Holmes, Justin Brock, and David Wall.
