Funeral services for Mr. Charles Ray "Teddy Bear" Whittington, Sr., 59, will be held at 1 P. M on Monday, April 23, 2018 at New Zion Baptist Church with the Reverend Dan Perry officiating. Burial will be on the family property on Harveytown Road in Walthall County, Mississippi.

Mr. Whittington passed away at his residence in Tylertown, Mississippi on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was born February 16, 1959 in Amite County, Mississippi to the late John Paul Whittington and Norma Dale Rainer Whittington Holland.

He was a truck driver for Turnage & Sons. Mr. Whittington enjoyed working on his cars, trucks, and equipment. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding in his boat, and watching old Westerns; but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife of 30 ½ years, Dana Renea Lowery Whittington; sons Charles Ray Whittington, Jr., and Paul (Raven) Whittington; granddaughter Izzabella Wittington; parents-in-law Albert and Cora Lowery; brother-in-law Albert (Melissa) Lowery, Jr.; nieces and nephews Brittnee, Blake, Breanna, Braylon, and Baylee.

Pallbearers will be Albert Lowery, Jr., Blake Lowery, Robbie Turnage, Cole Boyd, Keith Davis and Bill Goldman.

Visitation will be at New Zion Baptist Church on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until service time there at 1:00 P.M.
