Cody Clayton Vince, 35, of Tylertown, MS passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026. He was born on December 10, 1990, in McComb, MS to the late Jack Kevin and Shirley Netto Vince. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Velonie Vince; maternal grandparents, Claiborne and Louise Netto.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Colby Vince (Nevaeh), Tanner Vince, and Olivia Vince; a soon to be grandchild; sister Kayla Peterson (Clinton); niece, Gracey Peterson; nephews, CJ Peterson and Kashtyn “Rowdy” Peterson; along with a host of loving family and friends.

Cody will be remembered as the comedian in the family, always making people laugh. He was willing to give a helping hand anytime someone needed it. Cody treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. He was truly one of a kind. If you knew him, you knew his sense of humor and his ability to make anyone laugh. He could walk into a room and brighten it with his jokes, laughter, and unforgettable personality.

He was also the kind of person who was always there when someone needed a helping hand. No matter what was going on, he was willing to help, and he never hesitated to be there for the people he loved.

Some of his happiest moments were spent outdoors with his family, listening to music, singing along, laughing, and simply enjoying being together. Those moments may have seemed simple, but they are the memories his family will treasure forever.

He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and who will forever miss his laughter, his jokes, his helping hands, and the joy he brought into their lives. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for every memory, every laugh, every song, and every moment we were blessed to share with him.

He will never be forgotten. His laughter will live on in the memories of those who loved him, and his place in our hearts will remain forever.

Until we meet again, we love you and will miss you more than words can say.

A graveside service was held at Carson Springs Cemetery for friends and family. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
