Danny Ray Boyd reunited with the love of his life, Angela, on November 22, 2025, to spend eternity with the Lord. Danny Ray Boyd, 70, was born on December 10, 1954, to Truly and Joy Boyd. Danny was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Danny Ray loved to work with his hands. He worked alongside his father-in-law, the late Wilton Rushing for many years building homes. In addition to that, he spent over 25 years working offshore as a crane operator and retired in 2006.

Danny Ray and Angela spent 45 years together after he proposed to her outside on the steps of Union Baptist Church. Together they raised 3 children and were blessed with 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and another on the way.

Danny Ray loved his family and you would often see him at ball games, dance recitals, and church events the grands were involved in.

Danny is survived by his 3 children, Cole (Karin) Boyd, Lori (Robbie) Turnage, Patti (Patrick) Green. Grandchildren: Kolton (Lauren) Boyd, Keaton Boyd, Levi Turnage, Skyler Rae Turnage, Carley Green, Bailey Green, Kaston Boyd, and Kylie Green. Great- Grandchildren: Scott, Kasen and Truett Boyd. He is also survived by his mother Joy Boyd, sister Cindy Brumfield, mother-in-law Patricia Rushing, and sister-in-law Gina (Dwayne) Wood, and  brother-in-law Joey Rushing.

Welcoming him into his eternal home was his wife Angela, his father Truly Boyd, his brothers Clark and Mark Boyd, father-in-law Wilton Rushing and many other special loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at New Zion Baptist Church, 2 New Zion Rd Tylertown, MS. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM at New Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rushing Cemetery. Rev. Mack McElveen and Rev. Millard Moak will officiate. Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Cole Boyd, Robbie Turnage, Patrick Green, Kolton Boyd, Levi Turnage, Opey Brumfield, Mike Kennedy, Yates Boyd, Neil Eisert, and Matt Crowe.
