Mr. Danny Ray Dunaway, 68 of Tylertown, MS passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022. He was born Thursday, June 18, 1953 in McComb, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service at 11:00 AM at Crystal Springs Baptist Church, 941 Hwy 48, Tylertown, MS. Burial will follow in Crystal Springs Cemetery. Brother Danny Stevens will officiate. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Danny was a simple family man that had an outstanding work ethic. He was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church. Danny traveled all over the world and seen many beautiful places but he always said there was no place like home. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his father Devoy Ray Dunaway; mother Marie Parsons Dunaway; and sister Donna Marie Edwards.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years LaRheta Magee Dunaway;  daughters Michelle Dunaway Thomas (Nick) and Tracie Dunaway Magee (Brian);  brother Terry Dunaway (Debbie);  sister Julia Dunaway Adams (Stephen);  grandson Kolten Magee;  granddaughters Erica Sandifer, Katelyn Thomas (Trey), Shelbie Thomas, and Taylor Magee;  great grandsons Bradyn Sandifer, Cayden Sandifer, Kaston Sandifer, and Timber Pezant;  great granddaughter Charleigh Kate Pezant;  brother-in-law Don Magee (Mary); along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be David Blackwell, Conner Putfark, Chris Mitchell, Trey Pezant, Bradyn Sandifer, and Justin Adams.
