Darry Wallace, 83 of Tylertown, MS passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025. He was born Tuesday, September 16, 1941 in Jayess, MS to the late Troy Wallace and Dezzie Jane Dalton Wallace. Along with his parents he is was also preceded in death by his son, Landal Wallace; brothers, Troy J. Wallace and Dalton Wallace; sisters, Bobbie Lambert and Genell Nelson.

Visitation will be held at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Divide Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS. Brother Terry Wallace will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Darry was a gentleman through and through; always telling stories of the olden days and making people laugh. He was an avid Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed anything related to politics. But the greatest love of his life was his wife and family. His memory will be cherished.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Georgia Ree Bullock Wallace; son, Delwin Wallace (Juniper); daughters, Rhonda Bates (Tim) and Gayla Hederman; grandchildren, Kyle Holton (Sunni), Adam Wallace, Justin Wallace (Emily), Lindsey Clark (Blake), Ian Nelson, Max Nelson, Kalen Wallace, Tyler Hederman, and Summer Hederman; great grandchildren, Whitt Holton, Hattie Holton, Collins Clark, and Rainer Clark; brother, Ladon Wallace;  sister, Glynda Rutland (Harold);  along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Holton, Tim Bates, Justin Wallace, Max Nelson, Kevin Wallace, and Brian Wallace.

Special music will be performed by Vickie Russell.
