Delores Jo Maxey

Delores Jo Maxey, 78, of Columbus, Mississippi passed away in Tylertown, Mississippi on Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born July 27, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas to the late Katie and Willie Thompson, Sr. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Henry Maxey, daughter Debra Lynn Maxey, and two sisters Linda Loman and Mary Rouse.

Mrs. Maxey enjoyed shopping for and collecting antiques. In her later years she had published a book using poems she had written.
Survivors include Willie (Fern) Thompson, Jr.; 7 nieces and nephews; 4 great nieces; 2 great-great nieces, 2 great-great nephews, along with a host of friends and family.
