Denson Case

Funeral services for Denson Case, 72, of Tylertown, will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Tylertown Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Day officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Denson passed away at his residence on Friday, August 16, 2019. He was born April 19, 1947 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to the late Neita Jacobs and Howard Case. He is also preceded in death by his son Brian Case; brother DeWayne Case; and sister Diane Dillon.

Mr. Case was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church and he also served as an Alderman for six years in Ward 2. He was an avid golfer who loved playing the game. He enjoyed watching any type sports on television and was a big Mississippi State fan. Denson also enjoyed  spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years Carol Case; son Derick Case; daughter Leanne Smith, daughter-in-law Savannah Case Murray; grandchildren Jozy Case, Noah Case, Charlee Case, Layke Smith, and Kaycee Thomas; three great-grandchildren; sisters Pat Noble and Sheila Williams. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family.

Pallbearers are Mark Brock, Dwight Smith, Tony Ard, Les Lampton, Jimmie Denson Lofton, and Ronnie Bean.

Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Corporate Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be at Tylertown Baptist Church on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
