Funeral services for Derek Doran Davis, 35, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home with Reverend John Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Tylertown Cemetery II.

Mr. Derek passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021. He was born October 9, 1986 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Betty Gray and Joseph Davis. He was preceded in death by his son Elisha Gray Davis and grandfather Nels Borchardt.

Derek was a master craftsman; he had a knack to fix anything. When he was younger he and his brothers made many memories skateboarding. He had a good heart and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Mr. Davis enjoyed fishing, camping, and most of all he loved his children and spending time with them.

Survivors include his mother Betty (James Gonzales) Gray, father Joseph Davis, daughters Tayla Arbriella Francis and Bailey Elizabeth Davis; brothers John Aubery Davis, Gabriel Joseph Davis, and Joshua Davis; nephew Landon Aubery Davis; niece Isabella Rose Davis; and grandmothers Aline Borchardt and Carolyn Sue Johnson.

Pallbearers are James Gonzales, John Davis, Gabriel Davis, Darren Davis, and David Robertson.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Hartman Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown, MS.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
