Detra E. Willett, 58 of Tylertown, MS passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Walthall County General Hospital. She was born Monday, July 25, 1966 in New Orleans, LA.

Mrs. Willett was a talented artist that enjoyed making crafts and selling them at the local fairs and the Walthall County Dairy Festival. She also enjoyed writing children's stories and sharing them with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Willett; father, Jerry Preston Fairburn; and mother, Joan Elaine Strahan Fairburn.

Survivors include her sons, Justin McIlwain and Hunter Willett (Diamond); daughters, Joni Barber (Lewis) and Ashley Glass; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Fairburn (Melissa) and Travis Fairburn (Lisa); along with a host of loving friends and family.
