Dewayne Allen Davis, 58 of Meridian, MS passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at his residence in Meridian, MS. He was born Saturday, August 03, 1963 in Palestine, Texas.

A memorial service for Mr. Davis will be held at Greer Cemetery in Jayess, Mississippi Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 3:00 PM. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

For two years he was a true testament to the people he came in contact with at the Sober Living facility where he worked. No matter the ups and downs in his life his love for his children was unconditional.

He was preceded in death by his father James Davis; mother Nelda Hux Stuckey; and step-brother Robert Stuckey.

Survivors include his son  James "Jad" A Davis (Kayla);  daughter  Brandy Russell (Nick);  step-son  Kris King (Sara);  brother  Dennis Davis (Chellee);  sisters Denise Williams (Richard) and Connie Perkins (Clint Perkins);  step-father  Henry G Stuckey;  step-brother  Richard Stuckey;  grandmother Marie Gill;  grandson Ty King;  granddaughters Macie Russell, Mallorie Russell, Skylar Russell, Charleigh Russell, Ryleigh Bedwell, and  Aubree Bedwell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
