Donald P. Robertson, age 76, passed away unexpectedly February 25, 2023. Donald was born to the late Julius and Opha Haden. He was a hard worker, devoted family man, and proud U. S. Army Veteran. While raising his family in Tylertown, MS. he enjoyed hunting, fishing and the annual family camping trips. He spent many days on the sidelines of the ballfield cheering on his children. Donald liked to spend his free time watching westerns and football. He had a smile and kind word for everyone he met and will be missed.

Donald leaves behind the love of his life, his wife; Carolyn Dixon Robertson. His three children; Chris and his wife Michelle, Donna and her husband John Dyess and Stephen; all of Mississippi. Four grandchildren; Brandon Robertson, Jayce Robertson, Morgan and her husband Justin Stringer, Shanna Dyess, Chastity Hester. Four great grandchildren; Easton and Annaston Stringer, Kinsley Dyess and Kamryn James. Three siblings; Judine (Harlon) Parker, Wilda Philpott and Pete (Penny) Haden all of Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM at Capps Funeral Home until graveside service at 12 noon at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Tylertown, MS.  Reverend Everette Broom will officiate. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-876-3712
