Donnie Glen "Bird" Breland, 76 of Luling, LA passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at the Inspired Living in Kenner, LA. He was born Friday, May 3, 1946 in Tylertown, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 1:30 PM until funeral service at 3:00 PM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in the Rushing Cemetery in Tylertown, Mississippi. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Breland graduated from Warren Easton High School in New Orleans, LA. Then went on to the University of Southern Mississippi where he received a degree in accounting. He was an accountant  with COMNAVRESFOR-Department of the Navy in New Orleans, LA until his retirement. Riding and collecting motorcycles were his greatest passion. Mr. Donnie participated in many races and attended many Bike Nights throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his father Parley Norton Breland; and mother Vonnie O'Quin Breland.

Survivors include his daughter Michele Breland Gauthreaux (Chad); grandchildren Nicholas Gauthreaux, Taylor Gauthreaux, and Luke Gauthreaux; longtime life partner Cindy Alfonso; and a host of loving friends and family.
