Donnie Larue Burnthorn, 62 of Tylertown, MS passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at his residence in Tylertown, MS. He was born Monday, May 16, 1960 in Loranger, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM until service at 6:00 PM at Capps Funeral Home, 270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, Mississippi. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Donnie was a simple man that wouldn't tell you he loved you but showed he loved you the best way he could. He loved to hunt, fish, or just being outdoors in nature. He truly loved his family and reminded them often to "tighten up'. Donnie will be missed by many and the next time you are on a backroad riding, think of him.

He was preceded in death by his father Leroy Burnthorn; mother Melba O'Bryant Burnthorn; and sister Sandy Burnthorn.

Survivors include his sons Donnie Lane Burnthorn (Candi) and Brody Larue Burnthorn (Victoria); daughters Treasure Brooke DiGiovanni (Brian) and Salina Breeze Burnthorn; grandchildren Madison Laine Burnthorn, Jacob Larue Burnthorn, Olivia Marshall Burnthorn, Makayla Ann DiGiovanni, Kylie Pearl DiGiovanni, Shane Michael DiGiovanni, Destiny Jennings, Isabella Lowery, Jasmine Lowery; brother Daryl Burnthorn (Judy); sister Sheila Stegall; mother of his children Tammy Thomas; along with a host loving nieces, nephews, friends and family.
