Dorothy Teston, 85 of Saint Francisville, LA passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. She was born Friday, April 9, 1937 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Robert William Rushing and Willie Mae Rushing. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her brother Paul E. Rushing; and loving husband John B. Teston.

Mrs. Teston was a graduate of Tylertown High School and Clark Junior College. She enjoyed her career as a dental assistant. But her greatest blessing in life was making memories with her family.

Survivors include her daughters Janet Teston Underwood and Sheree Teston; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings Wilmon Rushing, Rev. John Wesley Rushing, and Carrie Rushing Tullos; along with a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1:30 PM until funeral service at 2:00 PM at Union Baptist Church in Tylertown, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. Dr. Ron Jordan and Rev. John Wesley Rushing will officiate. Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
