Douglas Edward Dillon, 85 of Tylertown, MS passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. He was born Monday, September 5, 1938 in Tylertown, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 12:00 noon at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS. Burial will follow in Tylertown Cemetery II. Bro. Mack McElveen will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dillon was a proud member of the United States Navy. He enjoyed running dogs for fox and deer hunting.  During one of these outing's is where he received the nickname "Red Fox". Mr. Douglas will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hughes Dillon; daughter, Tanja L Walter; father, Buster Brown Dillon; mother, Hazel Crawford Dillon; brother, Ted Dillon; and son-in-law, Roane Conerly.

Survivors include his son, Douglas L Dillon; daughters, Michelle Conerly and Karla Cothern (Dana); grandchildren, Chase O`Bryant, Gage Conerly, Colby Mitchell, Sierra Mitchell, Grey Conerly, Bayleigh Gibson, Bailey Dillon, and Ian Dillon; step grandchild Dustin Cothern; 4 great grandchildren; along with a host of loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dana Cothern, Chase O`Bryant, Gage Conerly, Colby Mitchell, Grey Conerly, and Ian Dillon.
