Memorial Services for Mrs. Edith Ward will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Capps Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Bassemier officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Fellowship Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. until service time there at 10:00 A.M.

Mrs. Edith Ward, 80, passed away Saturday, February 3,2018 at her residence in Tylertown, Mississippi. She was born October 25, 1937 in Pearl River, Mississippi to the late Carl C. and Ethel Burges Craddock. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by three children; a sister Hilda Green; and a brother Billy Huddleston.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lee Ward; son Mike Myrick (Fran); grandson Brian Seals (Georgia) and numerous great- grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Mrs. Ward was a Choctaw Indian and loved making native dresses and belts. She was a member of Bethel Fellowship Church in Angie, Louisiana and attended regularly until the decline of her health.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
