Funeral services for Mrs. Elena Faye Verdin, 66, will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from the chapel of Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home.

Mrs. Verdin a native of Gonzales, Louisiana,and a former resident of Larose, Louisiana died at her residence in Tylertown, Mississippi on Friday, January 12, 2018.


Elena was born October 17, 1951 in Woodville, Mississippi the daughter of the late Alton Earl and the late Maudra Elizabeth Gautreaux Arnold. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one grandchild.



Mrs. Verdin is survived by her husband Stephen J. Verdin Sr.; son Carl H. Savoy Jr.(Angelique); daughter Kellie R. Taylor (Jeremy); step-sons Stephen J. Verdin Jr. (Joy) and Scott B. Verdin (Myra); step-daughters Nora M. Verdin (Tammy) and Rebecca L. Verdin; brothers Glenn E. Arnold (JoAnn) and Garry W. Arnold (Maggie); sister Adveline A. Hebert (Edmond); 16 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.



Burial will be in Tylertown Cemetery II.


Visitation will be held at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 10 A.M. till service time at Noon.
