Funeral services for Mrs. Elois Chain Bonin, 93, will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Capps Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Tylertown Cemetery.

Mrs. Bonin passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Diversicare in Tylertown, Mississippi. She was born January 7, 1925 in Carson, Mississippi to the late John Elisha and Lonnie Dell Yates Chain; the seventh of ten children. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Alfred Oscar Bonin of Rhode Island; and all of her siblings.

In May 1943, after the death of both parents she moved to New Orleans, Louisiana and became a hairdresser until her retirement.

Mrs. Bonin is survived by a son, William Bonin and wife, Rebecca Bonin. Granddaughter Malanie McLellan, and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Violet McLellan. Two step-grandchildren, Dale and Miranda Brumfield whom she loved dearly as well.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until service time there at 12 Noon.
