Erica Kay Hartzog, 50 of Tylertown, MS passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at her residence. She was born Saturday, November 16, 1974 in Tylertown, MS to Steve and Pasty McKenzie. Mrs. Erica enjoyed reading, watching TV, dinning out, talking on the phone, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Charlie Hartzog and mother-in-law, Patsy Hartzog.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Chuck Hartzog; father, Steve McKenzie; mother, Patsy Brumfield McKenzie; sister, Lisa Pevey (Jason); niece, Brianna Adams (Aaron); great nephew Lake Adams; brother-in-law, Bruce Hartzog; sisters-in-law, Jill McDaniel (Ricky) and Regina Graves (Tim): along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hurricane Creek Cemetery in Sandy Hook, MS. Bro. Millard Moak will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements .
