Funeral services for Evelyn Faye Penton, 5, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Bro. Don Jacobs and Bro. Gary Sumrall officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Spring Cemetery.

Evelyn passed away at Walthall General Hospital in Tylertown, Mississippi on Monday, February 3, 2020. She was born March 15, 2014 in McComb, Mississippi to Dawn and Craig Penton. She was preceded in death by her grandfather James Penton.

Evelyn was always happy and was a golden ray of sunshine that brought a smile to everyone she met. She was truly God's angel on Earth.

Survivors include her parents Dawn and Craig Penton; brothers Jacob Lee and Wyatt Penton; grandparents Faye Garifo, Ronnie Davis, and Leoda Penton; uncle Daniel (Dawn) Fairburn; aunt Sheila (Cliff) Durden; and a host of cousins, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Durden, Daniel Fairburn, Josh Durden, and Chester Bock.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10:00 AM until service at 12 noon.
