Funeral services for Mr. Everett Kyle Jones, 73, of Sandy Hook, Mississippi will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Carson Springs Baptist Church with Brother David Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Carson Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Jones passed away at his home in Sandy Hook, Mississippi on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. He was born July 8, 1948 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Henry and Inez Jones. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother Clifford Jones.
Mr. Everett was a faithful longtime member of Carson Springs Baptist Church and exemplified a strong faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was an entrepreneur at heart and truly loved to learn; had a tenacious work ethic with a "never-quit" attitude. With these attributes and lots of hard work, Mr. Everett built and operated his business Pallets Incorporated in Tylertown, MS. He used his talents to help others in many ways; predominantly through Godly council with his words of wisdom. Mr. Jones was a great storyteller, violin and guitar player; a true lover of music. But most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Pamela Jones; children Steve (Lisa) Jones and Cynthia McCall; grandchildren Morgan Jones, Macey Jones, Jackson Jones, Brian McCall, and Mason McCall; sisters Charlotte McCain, Regina (Jimmy) McDaniel and Evelyn (Carl) Langford; brother Bill (Beverly) Jones; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
Pallbearers are Steve Jones, Jackson Jones, Chris Jones, Kenneth Jenkins, Adam Langford, and Shane Rayburn.
Honorary pallbearers are Joe Stinson, Glen Stogner, Hoyte Crain, Dwight McKenzie, Jimmy Lowery, John Fortenberry, Jerry Holmes, Larry Lamkin, Jessie Ray Vince, Sandy Fortenberry, Brett Jones, Roger Dale Lowery, and Wayne Sorrell.
Visitation will be at Carson Springs Baptist Church on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. and also on Saturday, January 08, 2022 from 11:00 AM until service at 1:00 PM.
