Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Herring, 77, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Crystal Springs Baptist Church Family Life Center with Reverend Danny Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the Crystal Springs Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Herring, a resident of Tylertown, passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
She was born November 13, 1940 in Natchez Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her father William Thomas Cook; and brother Bill Cook.
She was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church and a housewife. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and gardening; but loved flowers and working with them.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Reed Herring; son Wayne Herring (Kristi); daughters Cindy Womack (Bruce), and Gwen Luckey (Wes); mother Annie Holmes Cook; brother Joel Cook; sisters Rita Holmes, Gail Sumrall, Paula Green; and grandchildren Olivia Herring Barrett (Brad), Katie Edwards, Hanna Womack, Cody Ferguson, Karlye Ferguson, and Bo Luckey.
Pallbearers will be Shelton Stogner, Brett Jones, Dewey Lott, Warren Lott, Steve Lott, Chris Lott, Ray Stringer, and Tim Dunaway.
Visitation will at the Family Life Center of Crystal Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until service time there at 11:00 A.M.
