Frances Elizabeth Bacot

November 23, 1938 – August 27, 2026

Frances Elizabeth Bacot, 87, of Tylertown, MS went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2026. She was born November 23, 1938 to the late Percy and Lutchia Tanner. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lampton Bacot, Daughter, Tammy Burnette (Ricky), brother Percy Tanner, sisters Rita Reulet, Barbara Jones, and Marie LeBlanc.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Julius Bacot (Lisa) and Byron Bacot (Stefanie); grandchildren; Andy Bacot (Kamie), Kristen Hutchinson (William), Zack Bacot, Hannah Bacot, Tanner Payne, Tyler Brown, and Olivia Bacot, great grandchildren, Alexis Bacot, Alysa Bacot, Sarah Frances Hutchinson, Olivia Hutchinson, Saylor Bacot, Korben Brister, Daxten Brister, Kayson Brown, and Kenleigh Brown; along with a host of honorary grandkids.

Mrs. Frances enjoyed taking care of her flowers, cooking, sewing, and most of all taking care of her kids and most of us in Walthall County. She poured her heart out to her community through her daycare. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Visitation will be held at Capps Funeral Home, 270 Old Hwy 98, Tylertown, MS 39667 on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 12:00 noon until service time at 3:00 PM. Bro. Phillip Alford will officiate. Interment will follow at Bacot Cemetery. Capps funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
