Genevieve Toney Koch

Genevieve Koch, 81 of Tylertown, MS passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Diversicare. She was born Friday, October 2, 1942 in Franklinton, LA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM at Lexie Baptist Church, 4 W Lexie Road, Tylertown, Mississippi. Burial will follow in the Tylertown Cemetery II. Reverend Randall Griffin will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Genevieve was the youngest of a large family. Her love for singing gave her the opportunity sing at the Grand Ole Opry and even record a few songs. Some of her favorite interests were flowers and birds. Her greatest blessing in life was spending time with family and her soulmate, Ernie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Koch; daughter Ann; father Jessie Toney; mother Lottie Toney.

Survivors include her children Jody Johnson (Kyle), Don, Walter, Robin, and Tammy; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with a host of loving friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, Ben Dunnam, Billy Busby, Robin Busby Jr., and Tony Busby.
