Graveside services for Mr. George E. Deavers, 90, of Tylertown, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Tylertown Cemetery II with Roger Lee officiating.

Mr. Deavers passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Friday, March 8, 2019.  He was born April 07, 1928 in Monticello, Mississippi to the late Denson and Fannie Deavers.

George was a member of Tylertown United Methodist Church. He was the manager of the Tylertown Country Club for 20 years after his retirement from Jacks Cookie Company. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Jean Deavers; son Michael Evans; daughters Marsha (Randy) Rouse, Lisa Evans, and Donna (Joey) Walker; and grandsons Joseph Walker, Ryan (Sara) Evans, and Colby Evans.

Pallbearers are Randy Rouse, Michael Evans, Joey Walker, Joseph Walker, Ryan Evans, and Colby Evans.
