Funeral services for George H. Linker, Jr., 94, of Madisonville, Louisiana will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home with Brother Tim Hines and Brother Shaun Evans officiating. Burial will be in the Tylertown Cemetery.

Mr. Linker passed away at his residence in Louisiana on Sunday, February 21, 2021. He was born April 8, 1926 on Linker Mountain in Dover, Arkansas to the late Eva and George Linker, Sr. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Frances Linker; brother Odell Linker; and sister Lorraine Kelley.

Mr. George was a member of Hickory Knoll Church of Christ, Tylertown Church of Christ and North Point Church of Christ. During World War II he served in the Pacific with the United States Army. After the war he was a heavy equipment operator for construction until his retirement. George loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  He was also passionate about gardening.

Survivors include his children John Charles (Frances) Linker, Sr., Diane (Louis) Palmisano, Lorraine (Timothy) Haggerty, and Lynette Ann Linker; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 10:30 AM until service at 11:30 AM.
