He lived his life on the Knoxo community on the old home place. He was an avid farmer raising a huge garden every year. He loved sharing his bounty with family and friends. He also raised beef cattle winning several awards over the years. He was so proud of his herd. He was a member at the Crystal Springs Baptist Church. Years later a granddaughter was born giving him a whole new meaning to the word love. He loved his Sarah. They enjoyed each other from their daily visits to see little cow who would eat out of your hand to bingo the chicken, to picnics in the bottom of Pigott Farms.
