Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Turnage, 80, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from the chapel of Capps Funeral Home with Reverend Archie Herrin officiating.  Burial will be in the Oral Cemetery.

Mrs. Turnage passed away at her daughter's residence in Sontag, Mississippi on Sunday, April 29, 2018.  She was born August 22, 1937 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late James Page, Sr. and Minnie McBeth Copeland.   In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Willard Turnage; and a brother James Page, Jr.

She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church in Dexter and a homemaker.  Gloria was very talented and enjoyed working with her hands.  She loved to crochet, knit, cross stitch, make ceramics, and flower garden.

Survivors include her children Gwen (Glenn) Dykes, Kelsey (Craig) Thompson, Gregory Turnage, Becky Sullivan and Stacy Flanagan; eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6 – 9 P.M.
