Goldie Jane Hill, 97 of Tylertown, MS passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 in Tylertown, Mississippi. She was born Monday, April 5, 1926 in Tylertown, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 9:30 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Lexie Baptist Church in 4 W Lexie Road, Tylertown, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Tylertown Cemetery. Bro. Randall Griffin will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Goldie was a longtime member of Lexie Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She enjoyed cooking, reading, working puzzles, and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobbie Hill; father Henry Luther Spence; mother Ollie Dell Brumfield Spence;  brother Gaston Garrett Spence;  sister Nola Lee Spence Copeland;  and great grandchild Holden Kyle Hughes.

Survivors include her sons Maxy Devon Hill and Bruce Irwin Hill (Laurie); daughter Ivy Jewell Hill Hughes (Kelly); 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.).

Pallbearers will be Kyle Hughes, Shay Hughes, Blake Hughes, Eric Hill, Aubrey Hill, and Jordan Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelly Hughes, Dan Fairburn, and Shane Deer.
