Henry Grady "Bud" Harvey Jr.

December 18, 1930 - December 30, 2023

Henry Grady "Bud" Harvey Jr., 93, of Tylertown, Mississippi went to be with his Lord on 30 December 2023. HE was born 18 December 1930 of the late Henry Grady Harvey and Dixie Brumfield Harvey. He was preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 69 years Johnnie Hamilton Harvey, sisters Quida Yarborough and Jo Myers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Rhonda Harvey Weegens and husband Mark, 3 grandchildren, Crista McKinzie husband Daniel, Jesse Weegens wife Nikki, Aaron Weegens wife Julie, and 4 great grandchildren, Genesis McKinzie, Scotland McKinzie wife Makia, Jonah Weegens, and SimonWeegens all residing in Arkansas. His brother Dr. Charles Harvey wife Jackie, reside in Tallahassee, Florida.

Henry Grady graduated from Tylertown High School and went on to Mississippi State University graduating with a Bachelor's in poultry science. He was a veteran retired from the US Army. He served as a helicopter and fixed wing pilot during three wars, the Korean, Vietnam, and Desert Storm, He was a member and past commander of the American Legion. Henry Grady was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church and served in the men's brotherhood and many other special projects over the years.

Truly a man of many talents, Bud enjoyed flying, fishing, and woodworking. During Bud's later years drinking coffee with his many friends gave him much pleasure.

Henry Grady will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Henry Grady's life will be held on February 3, 2024 at Tylertown Baptist Church from 3 PM to 5 PM.
