Henry Allen Reagan was born on October 20, 1939, in Marion County. He died on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Asbury Hospice Center in Hattiesburg, MS, surrounded by loving family. Allen is survived by his wife and lifelong companion of 56 years Wadene; his sister Mary Lee Stockman of Mobile; his brother Lester Reagan and wife Betty of Montgomery; one brother-in-law Scott Luper and his wife Bonita of Tylertown; and numerous much-loved nieces and nephews. Although Allen and Wadene had no children, they enjoyed being "grands" to the children of their friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Estelle Reagan and one brother Glen Reagan.

Allen served his country for six years as an honorable member of the Army National Guard. He retired from the Illinois Central Railroad having lived in Jackson and worked for the railroad for 38 years. He and Wadene came to the Dexter community in 2001 where Allen enjoyed country life--his yard, his fur friends Kayla and Ben, and planting a lush garden that never produced!

He was a member of Crystal Spring, a deacon, a faithful Sunday School member, and a part of the choir. His pleasure was "making a joyful noise to the Lord." His joy in life was spending time with his beloved wife Wadene and his faithful friend Ben. If Allen could leave one message with you, his friends and family, he would say,  " Don't cry for me..."
